Gazelle

Hides are tanned and finished into a luxurious silky touch waxy leather ideal for upholstery. Full-grain refers to hides that have not been sanded, buffed. or snuffed (as opposed to corrected leather). Rather than Wearing out, it will develop a patina over time. This leather has not been altered beyond hair removal. Full grain leather retains all of the original texture and markings of the original hide.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: This leather can be identified by its shiny and glossy surface, however there are exceptions so be careful. Avoid direct sunlight. Dust your suite regularly with a soft cloth and dirt can be removed by wiping with a soft moist (never wet) cloth. A leather care kit can be used to clean and condition the leather. If you get ink or lipstick on your pigmented leather there are special products that help remove these marks.
Woodland / Steerhide
COLOURS AVAILABLE: brown, tan, mink, grey and stonewash – WOODLAND, clay and putty – STEERHIDE
WOODLAND = Leather from which the top surface has been removed by abrasion to create nap
STEERHIDE = unbuffed version
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: These leathers are more difficult to care for and to clean. Dust your suite regularly with a soft cloth and avoid direct sunlight. In general non-pigmented leather can be identified by the lack of shiny and glossy surface, however this is not a foolproof method of identification. This type of leather tends to absorb oils and stains and develops a patina over time the leather ages. If you get any of food on it, get it off best you can with a dry cloth, without wiping it into the leather and then leave it alone. The spot should dissipate into the leather in a short time. Do not try to clean with water.
